A hold is a marker placed on an accession to indicate that there is a problem proceeding with testing or releasing results. A hold can be viewed in it’s associated accession, and it will contain a description of the issue, and if resolved, the resolution of the issue. A final report cannot be generated if at least one hold is unresolved.
