A test spec in bLIS is a blueprint for a lab test, which defines how a test should be displayed, ordered, and how results are entered.
To create a new test spec, click on the + Add test spec button in the Test specs tab. From there, you can enter all the necessary information for the new test spec, including test name, pricing, test type, test result options, and other settings. Once you're finished, make sure to click Save to add the new test spec to the list.
There are two options to modify the default laboratory workflow:
Disable test run - if test runs are disabled, the test will not be available as an option when creating a test run, and results may be entered immediately once the accession is received.Disable reports - if reports are disabled, the test will not appear on the generated report for an accession. In addition, if an accession contains only tests with reports disabled, the accession would move to the Final state immediately after all results are entered and validated.
Navigate to the Admin → Test specs tab and click Reorder

You are now able to drag each row up and down to the desired order. Make sure to click Save when finished, or Cancel to discard changes.
